Bivo is Turning 5!

December 10th, 2025 | by Carina Hamel and Robby Ringer

Hi everyone! Bivo turns 5 today, and we're so proud of this milestone! To celebrate, we're launching a short documentary about the rollercoaster that has been the past 5 years. We also wanted to reflect and share some very important thank you's :)

Five years! :) When we think about Bivo, it’s really about the people who’ve been with us from the very start.

Before we even had a bottle, we set up tents at The Cross Crusades in Oregon.

Riders spent 20 minutes asking questions, washing their bikes at our bike wash station, warming up with s’mores by the fire, giving feedback, and sharing their own hydration stories :)

Our team carries that same energy every day. They bring creativity, dedication, and heart to every challenge, from last-minute event planning and special bottle drops to thoughtful customer care.

Peter, Mark, Sam, Charlotte, Keaton, Caitlin, Lily, Andrew, Sasha, and Katie - you rock! Thank you! And Jaab and Izzy, who have moved on to super cool things, we’re grateful for you too.

As we celebrate five years, we’re also excited to share a short documentary we've been working on that looks back at this wild, scrappy, meaningful journey. The highs, the chaos, the community, and the people who shaped Bivo into what it is today.

This milestone is as much yours as it is ours. Thank you for showing up, supporting us, and making this journey unforgettable. We cannot wait for what lies ahead on this adventure together. Undoubtedly it will be full of fun and a healthy dose of chaos, just how we like it :)

Spring mountain biking is here. And everyone is talking about it. But sometimes we don't understand everything they're saying. So we compiled all the mountain bike terms and definitions you need to know to stay up to date this summer.
Warming up for and cooling down from rides is often the 'boring stuff' that gets pushed aside. Vermont strength trainer Kate shares the best warm ups and cool downs for cyclists with easy videos you can follow along.

For Quench'd this week, we spoke with Flanders native David Desablance about the magic of cycling in the Flanders region between Belgium and France. Home to many famous races and cobble streets.
